# Mango Rankings > A public mango field guide: tasting profiles, country introductions, local names and source-backed histories. Human pages have Markdown companions; public datasets are static read-only JSON. Despite the name, there is no quality ranking, score or review rating. Alphabetical catalogue order and featured selections are for discovery. Tasting associations are editorial descriptions, not ingredients or measurements. An associated place is not necessarily a botanical origin. Coverage distinguishes complete country introductions (guide), published local names and stories (names), and unverified directory placeholders (researching). The directory includes 195 countries; Puerto Rico is a separate territory. A placeholder does not establish local mango varieties or their absence. History evidence distinguishes documented history, local tradition and a name record. Read each story's prose and citations before stating an origin. Personal passport information stays in the visitor's browser and is never exported here. ## Start here - [Agent guide](https://mangoranking.com/for-agents.md): Formats, interpretation, citation and privacy guidance. - [Home and mango catalogue](https://mangoranking.com/index.md): Full public starting page, alphabetical profiles and country discovery. - [Country directory](https://mangoranking.com/countries.md): Ready guides, local names and research coverage separated explicitly. - [Stories](https://mangoranking.com/stories.md): Find documented histories, local traditions and name records. - [Explore all mango identities](https://mangoranking.com/explore.md): Names, places, relationships and documented local context. - [Curated journeys](https://mangoranking.com/journeys.md): Follow a region, naming tradition, use or breeding family. - [Harvest calendar](https://mangoranking.com/seasons.md): Sourced geographic windows; not live shop availability. - [Dataset catalogue](https://mangoranking.com/data/catalog.json): Small manifest with dataset URLs, counts and field semantics; fetch selectively. ## Published country guides - [Cuba](https://mangoranking.com/countries/cuba.md): Start with a name from the Valle del Caney. - [India](https://mangoranking.com/countries/india.md): A summer that moves from one region to the next. - [Italy](https://mangoranking.com/countries/italy.md): Familiar mango names find a growing home in Sicily. - [Mexico](https://mangoranking.com/countries/mexico.md): Golden cheeks, a squeeze of lime, a little chilli. - [Pakistan](https://mangoranking.com/countries/pakistan.md): From Sindhri’s first golden cheeks to the late Chaunsa selections. - [Spain](https://mangoranking.com/countries/spain.md): Osteen, Kent and Keitt on the Mediterranean coast. ## Public data - [Mango tasting profiles](https://mangoranking.com/data/mangoes.json): 58 records.
